A fresh release from Barrell’s new Foundation line, this 5-Year bottled-in-bond-style bourbon was approachable and honest. Maple pecan, dark chocolate, and cinnamon made it a great warm-up. It showed how Barrell can do ‘classic’ just as well as complex.
